- The Corolla Education Foundation is a non-profit whose only function is to operate the Water’s Edge Village School (known as WEVS - pronounced “waves”). Our EIN is 27-5002997
- WEVS currently has 50 students in grades K-8 (80% Currituck residents, 20% Dare). We finally have room to grow!

How about that campaign?!
Beginning in 2021, WEVS officially began a campaign for a new purpose- built facility with matching fund drives, goods donated for raffles, two summers of almost every local businesses donate for“Hang 100 for 10%” events, a one-day almost $80,000 in donations 2024 Corolla Cup, parents’ time donated for open houses, and baked goods given for fundraisers. Local individuals, leaders, businesses, and over 900 community partners, trusts, businesses and individuals have donated!

The Lancer Project- Goal: $3000 to redo the electronics and gain a subscription to the GPS, and to re-stock the boat for its next voyage.
