- The Corolla Education Foundation is a non-profit whose only function is to operate the Water’s Edge Village School (known as WEVS - pronounced “waves”). Our EIN is 27-5002997
- WEVS currently has 50 students in grades K-8 (80% Currituck residents, 20% Dare). We finally have room to grow!
- Highlighted Capital Campaign donors include the Evans Family, Bryan Daggett, the Twiddy Family, TowneBank, the Corolla Cup, the Corolla Chapel, OBXTek, Outer Banks Community Foundation, 100% of the board of the Corolla Education Foundation, SAGA Community Focus, Outer Banks Boil Company, Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation, multiple family foundations, anonymous donors, and a generous foundation level pledge.

How about that campaign?!
We have had matching fund drives, goods donated for raffles, two summers of almost every local businesses donate for“Hang 100 for 10%” events, a one-day almost $80,000 in donations 2024 Corolla Cup, parents’ time donated for open houses, and baked goods given for fundraisers. Local individuals, leaders, businesses, and over 900 community partners, trusts, businesses and individuals have donated!
