Waiting List Enrollment

Our lottery drawing for the upcoming school year was held on March 7, 2025 and since then, WEVS has had several seats open up for the upcoming school year, which begins September 2nd. Admissions are now rolling on a first-come, first-serve basis until spots are filled, at which time, all subsequent entries will be put on a wait list in order or application.

We do not accept children off the waiting list after the final day of 2nd quarter; after that we re-open our lottery form for enrollment for the following school year. Parents of students on the waiting list must fill out the Lottery Enrollment Form Page once we post it after Thanksgiving to be considered for the following year’s lottery.

Parents should read our Student/Parent Manual and understand our unique situation, setting, and school; read our Admissions Lottery Policy; and consider planning a visit before adding their child's name below.

Any child who is a resident of North Carolina and meets the age requirements is eligible to attend Water’s Edge Village School, which does not discriminate on the basis of any race, color, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation or expression, national/ethnic origin, or disability for the purposes of hiring and enrollment.

WEVS is required to maintain and make available for review public records in accordance with state law. Some records may contain confidential student information protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and therefore may not be available for review.
